Something about the way she says 'with or without memories' is absolutely heartbreaking. His hand reaches up to stroke a thumb over her cheek and it's gentle in a way he hasn't quite been since they started kissing. Not because he's hesitant but because the tables are turning and he wants to sooth her now.
