[ It certainly helped to divide and conquer. More so with the man she'd smiled at once again, thinking he had a chance now that the second in command was gone. That one would sing like a canary for a smile. He was far too naive to last long in this life.

Doyle at the bar looked back, his eyes landing on Natasha first, then the men around the game. ]
The lass, or the fella you were playin' with? Either way, it's the same. Never seen'em before tonight, tried to flirt with the lass a little earlier, but she wasn't fallin' for me ample charms. [ He chuckled at his own joke.]

I'm just here lookin' to make some cash. Rent an' all, you understand. One o' the guys said you might need a hand with somethin' big.

[ It wasn't a full lie either, this was how he made his living, hustling games like these. Aside from their talk at the bar, no one he knew had seen him around her. ] Why?
